If everyone else in your section has been leased then you are in good shape for them to pay your bonus. If large areas are unleased then who knows.
everyone in our section is leased. there are 4 land owners waiting to see if they are going to pay the bonus. altogether we have 14 acres between the 4 landowners. that is all that is left in our section. so you think they will pay. i thought if they had enough in your section already they really did not need ours.
I would bet that they will pay, they don't want 14 acres riding the well down. This is small bucks to them that gives them a drilling unit. You are freaking when you don't need to be, I would love to be in your position. Chill out and wait for your money to come in the mail.
ok two dogs i will let you know in a week or 2 if you are right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks everyone for the info!!!!!!
Congrats!! Wishing you and yours the best...
