Since Encana didn't give any new info on Ash 1 or 2 during their quarterly review-- Has anyone heard anything recently?

Did they ever get the coil removed from number 2?

Is number 1 up and producing?  Any flares?  Judy, have you been by recently? Any new photos?

Seems like something good should be happening by now!

A little oil revenue would really help cool a long hot summer!!!

You can find your answers in the TMS groups.

Thanks for the reply.  For some reason I only had 4 pages on my TMS.  I went back after your msg and found 8 pages.  My bad.

I need to add that you may need to take these groups on GHS with a grain of salt sometimes. The longer you stay and the more that you read should be all it takes to weed out the folks who know from those that don't.

DT,

TD is right. The best place to follow these wells is in the TMS section. To answer your question: NO, YES, YES, I don't know, and I don't know. Patience, Patience...............

Joe  Thanks for the response.  Don't know what was going on but when I ckd TMS I only saw 4 pages.  After TD's reply I went back in and saw 8 pages with all the conversations.  Alzheimer's must be setting in..........

Dan,

I did not mean to be short with you. But that was the best I could do on that topic. Part of the problem with the Ash wells is there is a lot of expectation and little patience. Just hang in there. We'll get the info sooner or later. I think Encana is doing a true test or having problems and they need to work those out. They may wait to release an IP until after they have 30 days of production. That to me would be a true test of the well. That has been my problem with the Austin Chalk IP's. They do a one day test or less and release that as an IP. That is nothing but PR for the shareholders. That has not shown the true capability of any of the wells or the formation with the current drilling and completion protocol.

Hey Joe,  didn't feel you were short with me.  Really do appreciate all follow-ups.   Dan

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.

This area has suffered immense environmental degradation…
