two wells producing within my area of Caddo Parrish. I was told that I had 'too small' property to be 'cost worthly' for them [only 1-3'4 acre]. They still get the gas but do not have to pay.

Legally, the operator must pay you, but you have the same problem he has. Such a small acreage is not cost effective to pursue with an attorney who knows what to do. And that will be your second problem, finding an attorney who does know what to do. Look on the  bright side. You probably ain't losin' very much money. Still, it burns a person up. Best of luck.

William, under Louisiana law you have the protections as an Unleased Mineral Interest (UMI).  Read this and then ask questions.
