Norman, CRK is Comstock Resources.  Is that what you meant?

They  need new leases. No one interested. 

Those CRK leases were for the TMS, not AC.  Since CRK took those leases seven or so years ago, their business focus has changed.  They sold much of their Eagle Ford operated acreage, entered JVs with NextEra and then made the recent deal with Jerry Jones all to focus on and finance their Haynesville Shale operations.  There is nothing to suggest that CRK has any interest in the TMS or AC in central LA or MS.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
