Disappointing but not surprising based on CP's earlier comments about pulling out of the area.

What we don't know about this test rate is at what point in the post frac flow back period it was measured. If very early, the O&G rate would be expected to improve above these numbers. But if this test was after an extended flow back period, then there is minimal expectation for improvement.

Regardless of flow back test timing, we have a horrible looking well here. And CP spent millions to evaluate this area before walking away.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
