any crude trucks? or do you think they are all water?
Any photos?
Thanks for the info, Melvin. Looks like Steve Mueller was leveling with us when he said fracking was in progress. I can only conclude that the LA DNR database had some wrong information when they said perforation had been completed.
It sounds to me like fracking is complete and they are flowing back
You're probably right. After I wrote my reply above, I began wondering why they would need all the trucks for fracking, but I can see the need for trucks to haul the flow-back away.
Thanks for sharing! Anyway you could keep an eye out on this well over the next few days?
Steve Mueller said today that as of yesterday when he got the report on the Garrett well they had fracked 12 of 20 stages - all successful according to him -
Said they were fracking on average three stages a day and they should be done fracturing in about 3 days- then will have to move the equipment out and will begin flowback within ten days-
This link, sent to me by one of my GHS friends, echoes what Noah Brenner said yesterday about the Roberson and Garrett wells:

Also, I see that SWN stock today has been up over 3%. Just looking for positive signs.
I just heard from an eyewitness that as of late yesterday the water level in the main frac pond at the Garrett well was low and the pipe from this pond to the well site had been disconnected, so maybe fracking is now complete.
I heard a rumor today, of unknown reliability, that SWN used considerably more power in fracking the Garrett well than they had used for the Roberson. Hope they didn't overdo it and bring down water from above, but if not this may improve their results.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
