I heard Rig 21 was told to Stack out the rig. I hope not true.

Yep, that would not be a good development however I think that what is actually happening is that the rig has finished drilling (keep in mind the Sharp well is a vertical) and is in the process of moving to the next well location.  This would equate to about 20 drilling days for an approximate 9900' TD which without mechanical mishap should be about right.  Since DeSoto Drilling is a wholly owned subsidiary of SWN the company has more flexibility in how it deploys its rigs.  The weekly rig report will be out tomorrow and if rig #21 has been assigned to a new location it should be reported.

Desoto 20 is still stacked at Plum Creek location I heard, also the permit for the Hollis well expires tomorrow.

Two choices available.  UPSHAW 6-22-2H #1 (S6-22N-2W) or PLUM CREEK 13-23-2H #1 (S13-23N-2W).

Drilling activity IMHO will move toward being on strike with the Weiser Brown and Dean wells.

in fact, I dont under stand why theree arent a bunch of permits being filed right around the W-B well. It's obviously an outstanding well for a unstimulated vertical(against any tight oil play).

SWN would obviously know much more about the W-B Exxon-Mobile #2 than what has been reported to date in the public domain.  IMO there is far too little production history reported to date to declare it an outstanding well.  In fact if the Exxon-Mobil #2 exhibits long term production with shallow and stable decline then the Brown Dense is not the unconventional reservoir that SWN has described, at least in that location  I would agree that there may be additional higher pressure areas on strike.

Why is it obvious that they would know more about this well than what is in the public domain?  The WB well is on Exxon fee and is operated by a different company; why would SWN be privy to any nonpublic information that these two companies might have?  In my mind they are competitors.
