has anyone heard the rumor that andarco has bought out pegas as well as compton in cass county?

also stetson oil is building a large lake near the morse well to collect frack water.

Please check it for me when you get the chance.  The only energy company with the Stroud name of which I am aware is a small Shreveport independent, Stroud Petroleum, Inc.  How small?  They have drilled one well per year over the last 3 years and they certainly do not drill horizontal wells.

Thanks, Mark.  Stroud Petroleum has permitted 11 wells in Louisiana in the last 4 years and drilled 10.  4 are producing.  It is quite possible that they have drilled in AR and/or TX during that time, I only checked LA.  There is no record of the company drilling any horizontal well in LA.  Here is a cut and paste of their Organization Page in the state database.

They have now and this was a darn good well at that. Seems being small doesn't mean they can't do something the big boys do. Their first horizontal has a 24 hour rate at just over 200bbls. In just a couple of months it has flowed nearly 7000bbls of oil.  

This could explain why Cass County court house is shoulder to shoulder with land people.

Don't really understand what you are asking.

Tx RRC site has info on dispositon codes showing how O&G is tarnsported from the well location (just search for disposition codes on that site).

Same site has query options for production by opeator, lease, etc.

TD, A barrel is the same on RRC and SONRIS since that is an industry def. but the codes are different. Form PR is used to report all wells. The instructions explain which code to use (attached).

Here is the actual production reported from the Stroud well.
