NEW WELL INFORMATION. A big thanks to btj for the following: Well permit in the B Holmes survey A447, Cass County. Well # API 067-30524. One mile NE of Mcleod, Tx . Brooks Petroleum applied for a permit to reenter the Starcke #2 1 mile NE of Mcleod. To be drilled to 13000'. CV @ 10128', Smackover @ 10834 & wildcat to 13000' .
Other wells of interest : AC Domonic well in La. Well #237706. This well is approximately 10 miles Northeast of the above location. The well is located at Section 27 Township 23N Range 15W. Well was drilled to a depth of 9855' and on 1-20-09 status was "waiting on state potential"
This well was not drilled to Haynesville Depth.

Next : The Clements Heirs Well. Well# 237467. S017 T23N R14W. This well is approximately 12 miles Northeast of the Mcload well. Drilled to the Haynesville at a Depth of 11088'. Status 1-20-09 "Waiting On State Potential" To my knowledge this well was not a horizontal well and it is rumored to be in the Haynesville Sand , Not shale but that information is not official.

Next : Hall#9 Serial # 238345 S09 T19N R15W. This well is approximately 16 miles Southeast of the Mcload well. Total Depth 14511'. This is a HORIZONTAL WELL AND APPROX 3,900' WAS DRILLED HORIZONTAL. This well is currently being tested, but nothing official. The well is being flared, but rumored to be choked back , and frac fluids have been folwing .

Because of the distance you may not see the importance of these wells.
THEY ARE VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE UNTIL NOW THERE WAS NOTHING THIS FAR NORTH THAT DRILLED RECENTLY THAT COULD BE RELATED TO THE HAYNESVILLE.
The more information we can gather the better.

New information on the Domonic well. The following has been posted regarding the Domonic Well
COMPLETED 11-14-08; OIL; CV RA; 58 BOPD; OPEN CHOKE; 43.5 GVTY; 50# CP; PERFS 9193-9753'

This is saying state potential is 58 barrels oil per day from the Cotton Valley Formation The Gravity is 43.5 which is to my knowledge a little heavy, but OK. Oil from the middle east is as low as 15- 20 gravity from what I've been told. Well is perforated at 9193 and 9753' according to this.
