Anyone here with ownership of mineral rights under i49 without any other surface area? Which O&G landmen have contacted you? My family retained these rights after the State purchased the land in 1982 for the interstate and the surrounding land was sold to a timber company about 15 years later. We were orignally contacted by a Lafayette landman with Angell & Donahue, and have since been dealing with Chesapeake. We have 15.8 acres and have been offered $9000/per. Will no surface area weaken our bargaining power?
