Anyone here with ownership of mineral rights under i49 without any other surface area? Which O&G landmen have contacted you? My family retained these rights after the State purchased the land in 1982 for the interstate and the surrounding land was sold to a timber company about 15 years later. We were orignally contacted by a Lafayette landman with Angell & Donahue, and have since been dealing with Chesapeake. We have 15.8 acres and have been offered $9000/per. Will no surface area weaken our bargaining power?

I think you should give me the money and I will invest in a good fantasy football team. Or buy a new car. Maybe buy some HK or CHK stock. Even though CHK sold 25 million shares of common stock and now flooded the market and the stock is dropping like a fifth of whiskey drunk by my cuz.
