Does anyone in 22/12n/16w know what royalty percentage Comstock leased for. Mine was leased in the 70s and i dont know any details about it.........I know I need to check out that information but where..Desoto courthouse?

Cat - Probably in the 70s , 1/8 were about what the royalty was going for. Thats what I leased for on up to the 90s. You can find a copy of your lease in the Desoto courthouse, if you dont have one.
My granpa leased back in the "40"s and it was 1/8 then and still is now. Wish it was for more, but have been drawing royalies ever since so am thankful for that.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
