I am having trouble reading the Sonris report for this well. Can someone tell me when was the completion date for the well? And what was the production for August and September 2011?
How do I conver mcfd to mmcfd?
Is there any news on a new well being added to this section?

Ken, Mcfd is one thousand cubic feet of gas per day while MMcfd is one million cubic feet of gas per day. So just divide Mcfd by 1000 to get MMcfd.
So if the well produced 170295 MCFD, then that would equal 170.295 MMCFD?
Is that good production for a well? thanks
Ken,
Are you talking about the Gallaspy 19-12-11 well? According to sonris, the initial production was 14,309 mcfd. This equates to 14.309 million cubic feet per day. Yes, it is a good well. Not great, but certainly good. Sonris confirms what Skip said, by showing no production in August. If you monitor it on sonris, you can see when production restarts.

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
