A well site is being prepared West of Kickapoo on Hwy 5 just south of Westwood Dr across from Meadow Lake Estates, is this in Section 19 and or is this the well they was going to put in Sec 19 and drill in Sec 30?

Can they drill Sec. 18 from this site? That is where Meadow Lake Est. and Scout Ranch are. Supposedly the Scout Ranch will not allow anyone to drill
Don't know because the South side of Meadow Lake which is on Hwy 5 is located in Sec 19 and when you turn on Westwood Dr and come up 1 block from Hwy 5 to Meadowview that's where Sec 18 starts. But one time I heard they was putting a well in Sec 19 near Dudley Glenn and drill over in Sec 30 but this well is nowhere near Dudley Glenn it seem like its right off hwy 5. What are you all hearing?
If you are standing at the corner of Westwood Dr. and Hwy 5 you can see the entrance road. It is very close to section 18 which is where I live. I would not think they would be drilling in section 30 from where it is. It is much closer to section 18.
Yes Joyce you are correct but it is in Sec 19 and Sec 19 is North of Sec 30. I was just told one time that it was going to be in Sec 19 but drill over in Sec 30. Was wondering if this was the well. I personally hope it is drilled in Sec 19 or 18 I have property in both section. Let me know what you find out.
Could this be section 19 14n 14w, Encana well serial number 240455. Looks like it was started the middle of last month.
Thanks Bob then I guess any royalties will be paid to the land owners in Sec 19?
If this is the correct well. I'm not sure, it's just a guess, it's a possibility it is another well altogether. I was just searching for wells in section 19 on Sonris and ran across that one.
Have you all heard anymore about this well and the section it is in 18 or 19?
The well (Ser# 240455) is in SEC 19, TWN 14N, RGE 14W.

According to the details on SONRIS, the lateral will all be in SEC 19.

1246' FNL & 330' FWL OF SEC 19. PBHL: 380' FWL & 380' FSL OF SEC 19.

Nabors Rig# M27 is to do the drilling.
Thanks FXEF
I hope its a good one!
Rig is down and moving, crows nest left pad this afternoon. No new scout reports on SONRIS. Any scuttle-butt on this well?
Encana is doing pads on section lines (where Encana is operator in multiple sections--and encana is operator for Sec. 18). I would bet that in a month or so Encana will be back to that same pad to do Sec. 18 and do a lateral north. Only Sonris will tell!!
