Eliza, horizontal wells in the Haynesville Shale require a 1500 Hp rig with top drive capability.
That was an excellent test rate for the Houston 28 Well.
Les B - guess that was really my question - is the "Well Allowable" the same as the test rate? It sounds like your saying yes it is the same thing. If that is the case, sounds great to me. 20,395 is another super well for the Holly Field. It's been hard getting any information about this well or about the well in section 27. thank you.
Eliza, yes they are essentially the same. The initial well test rate is filed with the State on the well potential report and the State assigns the well allowable based on the well test rate. A well is re-tested each six months and a new allowable assigned.
