I watch Dept. of Conservation, Sonris, online Desoto courthouse records and the Holly Field is without a doubt the busiest of all fields. Also it is the field getting all the gas factories. Encana, Chesapeak, Encana, Exco, and now El Paso are doing the gas factory concept. Is it because it is so good in the field, or because it is close to major pipelines??

KCM will letters go out to the minerals owners before the application is on LDNR database?

Any more news??

Thanks!

James, the letters that Parkdota posted were the ones that went out to landowners; however not all in that area got that. It was great that PD posted it. So far no more info on sections 7, 18, or 19, but I bet we will be next. I have minerals in sections 7 & 18, so I too am anxious. Look at the bright side--gas prices are going up, so we will get bigger checks when they do drill
Anyone heard anymore info on this gas factory? I think the entrance is going to be in south part of section 7 off of Hwy 171

kittycatmama,

Encana already has a road the entire length of section 17 off Long road. Common sense would be to use existing road. Yeah I know, operators don't always use common sense!

There is also a 20 ft. wide road that terminates into one acre on south end of sec. 7 where it opens to sec.8. That road recently got recorded in Desoto records in May. I found that interesting as I too assumed the road in sec.17 would be the major route. Maybe they will make it like they did at corner of Red Bluff and Long Rd. for that factory. Entrance for that one is off of either road. Have you head anymore regarding 2 wells going up east side of sec. 7. Initially that is what Encana planned--at least that is what I heard
No KCM I have not heard anything as of yet. I hope Sec 7, 18, and possible 19 could get something out of all this.

James, I am sure we will get a factory after these sections (8,17) do. FXEF is knowledgeable about these sections. Hopefully he can enlighten us. FXEF ???

what do you hear

FXEF,

Are you hearing anything new about sec 7,18and 19   14/14

I heard this morn from friends that contruction of pad site for gas factory for sections 8 & 17(14/14) has begun
Hope the other sections are next!
sections 6,7,18,19 are the western sections of Holly Field that Encana has leased. All initial wells in these sections had good production and all 4 of those sections(above) are just west of where the new factories are going, so, one would have to assume that Encana will complete the above sections with gas factories since that has been their history east of our area.
just looked on DNR website & noticed that Chesapeake is approaching our area from the west & doing their gas factories there. We are in between several of Chesapeake's multiple well sections & Encana's. Looks good for our area
