They are shallow. They are producing gas and plan to drill more wells. They made a lot of water, more than can be accounted for by frac water. They are cheap and shallow wells and won't make much gas but may be as economic as some deeper. Likely have a mix of biogenic gas and thermogenic gas

I was told last week that these wells are abandoned. The operator was making far too much water to separate economically.  They will be plugged and abandoned if not already.

I heard a few days ago that the wells drilled in Stone county are going to be revisted, perhaps to produce gas for local farmers and homeowners. No details
