Then all the big IP stories flying around last month didn't come from this well after all?
I don't know.  I understood they had completed a four hour test in December and I had not seen any other activity on the pad except for one instance.  I guess we will have to wait and see.
I know it's made gas. A no brainer for gas in that area. The question is why would they plan to drill more wells 2200 feet deeper than the Haynesville Shale. I don't think they would spend that kind of money unless they had a reason to. I don't think they need to practice drilling.
Any one know if they have 3-D in area to drill off of?

BP 3 D it over a year ago.

Caddo--- do you know TD depth of the #8 well? If they drilled off 3-D they must see somethink on 3-D
adubu, here's the G-1 (well record only).

Caddo Rat & jfree1---- on G-1 shows CV 8700 and bossier 10190--- liner placed at 11672-12226--then comment they plan to downhole commingle with CV--- so I am thinking this at 12036-12148 must be CV Lime and be gas.

There is some excellent CV (aka Haynesville) Lime wells in East texas some vertical that have made 6-7 Bcf over last 40 years.

It was permitted as a wildcat to 12800. The Bath B #10 12, 500, The Mack Runnels #9 12, 500. The Haynesville on the last two is at 10,300 completion depth. They are permitted 2200 feet deeper than the Haynesville. These are vertical wells.

There are other wells popping up on the W-1 list that are going deeper as well. Something is other than some rumor is driving this. There has to be some geology in this somewhere.

Don't go there.  Don't mention oil.  You know better than that.
