I haven't found a royalty calculator that I trust.  Keith's was the better of the ones out there that I have examined but I don't think its available at this time.  You can check. Royalty calculators do not use all the pertinent factors and therefore should not be assumed to be accurate.  I understand the interest by mineral owners in running a calculation and that's fine as long as the result is taken as a gross approximation.

Wondering if anyone knows anything about the newly completed Williams 11-12 #1 well in portions of Section 11 and 12 of 18N-2W? My family has interests here. Nadel and Gussman are the operators.

We leased 80 acres in choudrant a year or so ago for 350 with 25% royalty. They built the pad last week and the drilling rig is moving in today.

Thanks for the info Got Bill Jones involved a little bit just to take
a quick look.. After all the kids etc. I don't have that much at stake.
Once I get the paperwork from the oil company I can start backtracking
on what went on... I was really excited at first thought about time I get a
break in life.. (sigh) no such luck but every little bit helps.. Amazing
the feeling one gets when a oil company comes a courting. Hey. LOL
Oh well made for some really nice dreaming.

Sure it wasn't Petrohawk (KCS Resources)? That's the only company with the petro prefix to my knowledge that had any activity in Lincoln Parish during 06-07. Wildhorse Resources has since purchased all their interest in Lincoln Parish.

Never heard of Petroboss either, and I try to keep up with the info in Lincoln Parish.
I agree with John about Mike Coyle, or his partner Bill Jones. I have been impressed with some of their work.
If you don't mind me asking, what part of the parish are you in, or what field are you in?
