Anyone aware of any activity South of Coushatta, Red Oak Rd., airport? I have a few unleased acres fronting the airport and haven't heard of any activity in that area. Leases, permits, drilling?

That is Section 29, Township 12North, Range 9 West.

Coushatta has an airport?
Indeed, Red River Parish International Airport, located on the Red Oak Rd., about 4 miles south of the Greater Metropolitan Area of Coushatta. It was built to accomodate Sunbeam Corp's. corporate jets when they had a plant there.
And there was a major "speedway" down the street at one time for aspiring Nascar stars!!
Leased Sec 20,21 in April. Leased by Pride Oil out of Lafayette fronting for Encana/Shell

The sign was still up last week.
We must not be talking about the same property. My property is 40 acres fronting the airport, about midway the runway and has not had a "For Sale" sign on it.
