texas.hometownlocator.com/map/feature-map shows button mountain to be in nacogdoches county notrh west of cushion, tx. thats just south of bugscuffle(intersection of FM 225 and Hwy 84)west of mt enterprise and south of laneville

Skipper dunn---thanks you now I have it located. Do not know why Cabot said it was Rusk County in their report. Close to Rusk but map show it without question in northern nacogdoches.

no sweat, keep in mind that locals, being the way they are can have local names for places on their farm or old family property, I know where akin mountain and green mountain are also and there's other high spots in south rusk county and panola that could be named by owners or hunters and others
