My mother has 20 acres in Sec 4&5, T 4N, R 12W - she is interested in leasing minerals rights. Is there any activity in this area?

Jolee, she is far to the South at present. Just hold tight and keep your fingers crossed.
dang, thanks for your reply tho!
Jolee, the Sabine Index publishes the Clerk of Court filings for Sabine Parish. It is the best source to see what companies are leasing and where in Sabine. As TD,P mentions 4N -12W is far south of the Haynesville Play and that can be verified in the Clerk's filings. The activity in that area is most likely to be Austin Chalk. Learn to use SONRIS Lite database and you can track wells in that area.

Here is the latest Clerk filings:

Skip...Thanks for the info, I have tried navigating Sonris before, guess I am technologically challenged. Can't make heads or tails of that. I appreciate your reply, and guess the only thing she can do is wait.
Jolee I am tech challenged also. You have to just play with sonris to be good with sonris.
I'm trying hard to figure that mess out! LOL
