These photos were taken on 2/8/11 from vehicle.  The site is about one mile west of the Hwy 96 / Hwy 103 intersection and on the south side of Hwy 103.   The sites are adjoining.

 

The top photo shows a well head from an old drill site.  Now they have poured large concrete slab. 

The bottom photo is east of photo #1.  It appears they are building a large pit of some type.

 

Just wondering what is happening??

 

And if this subject has been covered in other postings, please excuse.

Tadpole, there is a permit for a disposal well in that vicinity.  Is that the old well site just west of the Magnolia Cemetery Road?
That is going to be a disposal well/facility for Select Energy.
