I am interested in knowing if any drilling or potential drilling is being done in the Macune area?  We leased land to Encana in 2010 and have not heard anything yet.  Any info would be appreciated.  I am new to this forum, as you may be able to tell!  Thanks..

They have drilled several wells in the area and have permits for several more.  If you will share your Survey/Abstract No. it will help us find the ones in your vicinity.  They are not drilling anything in the county as of last Friday.

There are a bunch of Survey/Abstract Nos.   James Moss Survey A-31, Norwood Survey A-210, William White Survey A-308 and O. Hendricks Survey A-127.  Thanks...

I just posted in general discussions to see if anyone else might know something.  I did send you the survey/abstract nos.  Thanks for your help! mn

Encana has drilled the USFS F9 well about two miles NW of McCune and the Blackstone A-17 about 2 1/2 miles east of McCune.  They  are down to one rig working in the Texas Haynesville is my understanding.

Due East of the Moss, A-31survey about 2 or 3 miles is EOG's Zap Minerals well which was a lousy well.  Your surveys will likely be fine when we get a better Nat Gas price.  This pretty much answers your question Melinda!

EOG really fell on their butt with that Zap well.  Multiple mistakes on the "Production" side.  Short lateral and fewer frac stages.  To be completely honest... By comparison of the shortened lateral the well is actually really good.
