DEVELOPMENTAL

San Augustine County

The ADJ Minerals BP Well No. 1H will be drilled in the Angie (James Lime) Field to 7,600 feet. Location is 6.2 miles southeast of Aiken in the Bruce, CG/Wren, TL Survey, A-596. Operator in charge is Southwestern Energy.

Another one close to the northern border...*sigh*

Eagle Stone Energy Partners

http://www.energyspectrumadvisors.com/details_engagements.php?id=147

has the same Logo as Eagle Oil & Gas Co.

http://www.eagleog.com/about/about.html

(Owned by the Bolin Family as stated in our lease agreement)

As seen in each web sites...

Enron Oil and Gas is totally different..

I am pretty sure they had little to no interest at their inflated asking price, and the market had just tanked. Plus they were selling shallow and deep lease rights separately, trying to make a double-killing.

They may turn out to be a case study on how oil and gas speculators get burned...the proverbial cat holding the over-priced bag. Good luck to those of you who leased to Eagle.

As far as I know, they are completely unrelated to EOG, as EOG is formerly "Enron Oil & Gas", not "Eagle Oil".

I recall this website around the 1st of November 08 --

Eagle Stone Energy Partners... I'm thinking this is and EOG sub company? Possibly partnering with Energy Spectrum Advisors, Inc?

I have not seen anything new about the sale since... perhaps someone that can investigate the internet better for more clues?

Dunno...

They did put their holdings in Sabine County and SA County along with some land in NW Sabine Parish up for sale at auction. I did not ever see any results but would love to know if they received any interest.

I thought I saw a while back where Eagle Oil had their interests for sale to other companies. Anyone recall that?

I too, would love to know what Eagle Oil and Gas is up to if any...

Happy New Year San Augustine County! Hope everyone gets leased or drilled in 2009!

Cheerleader--It could be re-permitted that way but it would not be cost effective to actually do it for production in the same formation. However, if you wanted to go horizontal in a deeper formation it could be done, similar to what they have done with the Donner in Sabine Parish.

Thanks sandstone,
Great description! If the OG finds good results fracing the vertical, can the OG amend the permit and turn in the same well and go horizontal?
