I think most of it can be called damages, and only a small amount would be taxed. Call your Tax people, and see what they say. I got 200. a rod, but I had to really work for it. I was the last the sign, and they even put their attorney on me.

Per rod rate would depend on quite a few factors including if rural, if timbered, ROW width, if the path across your property would minimize construction costs, etc. $200 is a pretty good average price that to use depending on property value per acre and the amout of decrease in property value the pipeline across the property will cause. Assuming you're asking about E.Texas. West Texas, obviously, would be a great amount lower than $200. What pipeline company will you be dealing with?

Have you heard from Noble lately? I received a letter 6 months ago, stakes were put out and after the Hughes well was p & a, I heard they wouldn't be running the pipeline. I misplaced the name and number of the person I talked to. This is off 711 area.

Driller, Which Hughes well is this? Do you know the API #?

Hughes No. 1 H . This is the well they lost. api #4241931495. The pipeline was to run east/west crossing 711 between weaver and boles. Any idea where they would tie in from the Peace? Also $250 per rod is the going rate.
