My guess would be that just before the lease runs out there will be one of the 3 wells be cranked up to hold your lease and you will receive almost nothing in royalties. The other 2 will be there producers and you will receive nothing from them.. They have had well over a hundred years on how to cheat the land owner.. Pass money under the table to the government officials will get what ever they want.. Please keep us informed on any updates

so what you are suggesting is that my 250 acres of land which EXCO MADE A BONUS PAYNENT TO MYSELF FOR $2.5 MILLON is going to produce no royalties and continue to delay the drilling an production of natural gas in one of the most abundant feilds in the haynesville shale?

john, there have been numerous discussions concerning this section.  You can read them all if you like in the archive.  You can also send a question to ShaleGeo if you do not understand the situation although I suggest that you start by reviewing the past discussions as it gets old going over the same ground repeatedly.  Here is one of Jay's responses in one of the Debroeck well discussions.

Exco will get it right but it will take time and they will be very cautious in this area due to the blowout.
