I visited this well site a couple of days ago and talked to an Encore field man. This is about 2 miles south of Greenwood. The drilling was complete (vertical and horizontal) with a total distance of over 15,000 feet. They are starting to take the rig down and were preparing the frac pit. The fracing is expected to start in 2 weeks or so. He said that the initial production prior to the fracing looks promising. The rig will be going to Center, Texas next and then it will come back to drill another well in Section 2 just to the north. He said if these wells are successfull, Encore will likely drill more in the area.
