This should be a mile or so west of Greewnwood. Goodrich has a good well (over 13 mcfd) about 4 miles to the north. From Shreveport Times:

Goodrich Petroleum Co., HA RA SUVV; Flournoy et al 27H, 001, Sec. 27, T17N, R16W, Greenwood Waskom, 15703' MD 11157' TVD, Haynesville Res A.

Another pad site going in at Section 5 T16-R16 next to the golf course on Elysian Fields. Also one going in across the road in Sec 32.
Suzan-
Can you tell me if the sites have been cleared or just staked at this point? Is there any thing indicating who is drilling on the sites? I live out of state, but was in the area a couple of months ago, and saw two sites staked out next to the golf course, one in the northeast corner of Section 5 and one on the west side of Elysian Fields Road, also in the north edge of Section 5. The purpose of these sites as I understand it were to drill into Section 32 (Section 32 and 31 have been combined to form a large unit), but the landowner (John Turner) had not finalized any deal with Petrohawk as of a month ago and said he had just let them on to survey. I did not see anything marked in Section 32.
Hey Bud,
My Dad Lamar was out yesterday and spoke to some workers waiting for a road crew to deliver rocks to upgrade the dirt road next to the golf course. The worker showed him where the well was going in, right next to the new pond, between pond and Elf road. The markers on ELF road have moved again and seemed to be more alligned with Sec 32. No pad site on either has been started yet. I know that Petrahawk has Sec 32 & 33. I don't know about Sec 5 and we are still waiting for an offer on Sec 4. I will let you know if I find anything else out.
Thanks. I talked to Turner today and he has made a deal with Petrohawk for using the site near the golf course in the corner of Section 5 to drill to Section 32. He said that they are not interested in using the pad site marked off on the west side of the Elysian Fields Road at this time. Is the site you mentioned in Section 32 near the dirt road that runs along the north edge of the golf course to the east? If so, that may be an old well site rather than a new well pad.
No the markings in 32 are on the other side of EF road and a bit north of the dirt road. It could be markings for a pipe line but I've seen these before as markers for well sites. Sometimes its written on the sticks, I'll check it out next time I'm through there.
I did get a call a couple of months ago from someone with Hawk Field Services (part of Petrahawk) about a possible pipeline that they may construct through there. It is supposed to be a sizable line at 24 inches. So possibly the markings were for that line.
