Verberne 46H is the unit well for TMS RA SUC in the Little Silver Creek Field. The Williams 46H and the Kent 41H are non-unitized. They are Lease wells as opposed to Unit wells.
What would be the difference in Unitized and Non Unitized wells when it comes to Mineral Owners ???
A lease well (non-unitized) pays only those mineral owners within the spacing boundary of the well. A unit well pays all the mineral owners within the unit bounday. For example, a 640 acre unit may have wells with minimum spacing of 80 acres. All mineral owners in the unit would receive royalty on all wells up to a maximum of 8.
The well name is the easiest means to determine the associated unit. Example, TMS RA SUC;Verberne 46H #1. I feel sure that the Williams 46H #1 and the Kent 41H #1 will eventually be unitized but they are permitted and drilled as lease wells. When their unit applications are approvrd, the names will change to include the unit designation. I'm out of town and don't have my spreadshheet. I'd have to review it to know which unirt application cooresponds to which well. The number in the well name is the section number of the well surface location. You could use that and the township/range to search the unit plats linked above.
You can use these links to review the plats for both wells and compare them to the unit plats.

What would be the reasoning for drilling a lease well and not getting unitized....is it because they couldn t get everyone leased and participating ??
Looking at theWilliams Plat...There are landowner names with Goodrich name with theirs on the map and some without the Goodrich name ....Are these the ones in the spacing boundry that you spoke of ????
Could be but more likely the unit is applied for but not yet approved.
So if this unit has not been approved yet, all of the mineral owners will not see royaltys until it is Unitized ???? Or do I mis understand ???
The unit would be approved before the well was completed and turned to sales so stop worrying about mineral owners in the unit getting paid. I know the Greens. Your suppositions are incorrect. Forget the rumors.
ok
Shale drilling and lithium extraction are seemingly distinct activities, but there is a growing connection between the two as the world moves towards cleaner energy solutions. While shale drilling primarily targets…

AboutAs exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More |
