when are they going talk drilling in shongaloo area. my family has land all over shongaloo knowbody is wanting to drill. does anybody know if the well on willey rd made a good well or what

Haven't heard any new info on Wiley Rd well or the shallow well at corner of RodneyMartin and Fire Tower Rds. If I hear anything I will post. I hear from friends they have been approached for lease of land at Leton(not Haynesville Shale though). $400 acre and can reserve Haynesville shale. I don't know the company. We have not been approached.
Did your friends lease for that price? I have a 19 acre tract near Leton on Evergreen rd, haven't been approached yet. Would like to know what others in the area have accepted.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
