This well will be along hwy 371 just a couple miles south of webster parish. A good well here will be great news for S Webster!
Thanks Catfish. We are leased in T19N, R10W and R9W and like to hear any news related to or near Webster Parish.
The pad for this well is completed and waiting on the rig to arrive!
Have 150 acres -- Section 30. T20N, R10W Webster/Hortman. Have been approached but not leased out at this point. Have any advice (i.e. company -- terms)?

There are 2 HS wells permited west of you in Webster north of the bellvue rd near the parish line. How they turn out could effect you. If they are good producers you should be in a better position. What kind of offer have you gotten?
Let us know how this works out...we have 400 acres west of you on the Fuller Road.

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
