i have land in webster parish sec 30 T 17 R10 COULD ANYONE TELL IF ANY THING IS HAPPING THERE IS MY SEC IS IT NORTH OR SOUTH WEBSTER PARISH

It has already happened with 10 producing wells in the Cotton Valley formation with one being a CW Lee 30 Spud on 2- 27-2007. If you don't have a vertical Pugh Clause then you are HBP.

Carter a vertical Pugh clause states that anything below a certain depth will be released back to the mineral owner at the end of the primary term of the lease. HBP means held by production. Without the vertical Pugh clause then the leasee holds everything from the surface to China.

Are all of these BEUSA? Sec 29 t18n r10w was unitized on 7/26/10 but haven't seen permits or seismic activities yet. Anyone know what is happening there? If this is all BEUSA I don't see how they can hbp leases due to expire in 2011? They appear to have only one rig to move around to the different sites and seem to take an extroadinary amount of time drilling? Anyone care to comment?

LWC, Global is "shooting" this area right now. I'm guessing the info needs to be collected ASAP for O & G to decide whether to let our leases go in May 2011- July 2011. The gas prices are not helping our area at all. We shall see....

P.S. The phase 2 area has been modified on the Global website-- they are shooting below the ammo plant and West of Bistineau so far.

P.S. I might be way out in left field, but what are the odds Petrohawk and others will try to lump a few sections that are on the border of the ammo plant with sections directly below it? ex. The lower half of 19.18.10 will be added to 30.18.10. Just like Encana is trying to do in South Bossier- Petrohawk and Chesapeake could HBP more leases with fewer wells. Time is running out, money is too.
