My Wilson line comes from Captain James Wilson who was born in Scotland and came to N. Carolina around 1740. Do you follow your genealogy? My line continues from John Winborn Wilson who married Mary Masse Ryall. Are any of those names a part of your decendants? The Wilson Family is fascinating to learn about. I just heard about this sight and am trying to get used to it. My family has a small piece of property and we're trying to find out more about it. How are you coming along in the information that you're getting?
My mother was born in Shreveport and Wilson was my grandmother's maiden name. We may have more in common than land. Good luck on your endeavers.
