"This is usually due to minimum royalty being less than $100 for the year. When I worked for them they sent out one payment per year as a courtesy even if less than $100 but that gets expensive with thousands of checks. Maybe they have…"
"need to talk with someone. They operate a couple of wells in DeSoto Parish in which I own a very small interest. Wells are producing, but I got not royalty check all of 2019. I called and got and answering machine. I left my…"
"Since these are production for 2019, would it be safe to say that they primarily reflect the production from newly drilled wells, say in 2017 - 2019? And, hence, maybe also reflect the lease holdings of the companies most actively drilling in…"
"Well, I”m a free market type, but we are reaching a critical point where national interests may take precedent. For instance, Congress could pass a law requiring the FDA to require that any patent owner of a new drug seeking FDA approval…"

"I'm a land and mineral owner in DeSoto and Sabine Parishes. I've had my issues with CHK over the years. My lease with CHK had the "no costs" deduction addendum, so I've not had to deal with the issues you are…"
Steve, I will be meeting with the editor of the Shreveport newspaper to discuss the possibility of a series of articles highlighting mineral owner concerns. I am considering including the Comstock units with multiple expired well permits. It would be helpful if I could ask you a few basic questions. If you are willing to help, please email me at email@example.com
Steve, I fully agree with your reply in the recent Dr. Fine/Robert Johnson discussion. I would like to point out that Robert Johnson is not posting out of interest in a discussion but specifically to increase the "web presence" of Dr. Fine. I don't know if he gets paid or not but the fact that he never makes a reply in these discussion threads and "favorites" each one indicates that he is just pumping up the listing of entries for anyone searching Dr. Fine on the Internet. Keith and I have discussed it and doing so isn't against the site rules and occasionally there is one or more members who do reply so Robert has not been banned from posting to GHS. I'm not a big fan of this kind of activity but it is common on the web.
Thanks for the compliment....... it's wonders what makeup and good lighting can do!!!!!!....... I'm married to Marshal Wayne Whatley from Pineville,La. We've been married for 22 years. My first husband was Willie Junkin from Delhi, La. Willie and I divorced in 1979, and Wayne and I were married in 1988.
Good hearing from you Steve. Hope things are well. I guess I look at this as lagniappe. If it comes, it comes. Just a little extra. But if it doesn't, I'm okay. What part of California. I spent my Navy time in San Diego.
Hello! I hope the site is a place for to learn, network and contribute. My name is Keith and I started the site in June of 2008 to open up lines of communication between landowners. We now have over 10,000 members.
As exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More
