"I know little about this technology, but I'm interested. I've also read articles from environmental groups that blast blue hydrogen, saying it is terrible technology for the environment.
At first blush, it would seem like…"
"my "calls per week" has gone up recently. Of course, I have 3 wells due to be fracked this week, so, of course, the interest has gone up.
Late last year, I had a relative with about 25 acres, leased at 1/4, with only one existing HA…"
"I have two leases - one is 50 years old that was HBP; the second, a 2009 lease with a "no fees" addendum to my lease.
My most recent check stub has deductions for the following. I have production from 2 wells, covered by the same…"
"I recently noticed this phenomena in wells operating in units in which I own an interest. There was an existing pair of producing wells that were several years old. then 3 new wells were drilled. At about the same time the new…"
"so, this "poll" is sorta buried under a post on drilling moratoriums. Would you consider starting a separate post directly related to royalty prices versus all of the other stuff we see on gas prices?"
"Steve, Here is what I use to track pricing and supply/demand.
https://money.cnn.com/data/markets Scroll down to gas. It is the futures price and gives an indication as to the direction of pricing seen in royalties. You will…"
"so, I would love to see that as well. About a year ago, I started comparing the gas prices on my royalty checks (I have several small interests scattered around DeSoto and Sabine Parishes) every month. I was surprised that this…"
" I vote to put it on a separate discussion like the well rig count or put it on that discussion on the first page. That way the information is easily located. I get a lot from watching trends. Right now I follow futures which…"
"EgiB: glad you have recovered from the virus.
I've been following and contributing to GHS from the start. The overwhelming majority of the followers who offer an opinion or ask a question are reasonable, sincere interested parties.…"
"my understanding is that some company is trying to put together a block of formerly mined land for a solar project. I don't own any land that was part of the Dolet Hills mine, but if I did, I'd carefully look at this prospect. …"
Steve, I will be meeting with the editor of the Shreveport newspaper to discuss the possibility of a series of articles highlighting mineral owner concerns. I am considering including the Comstock units with multiple expired well permits. It would be helpful if I could ask you a few basic questions. If you are willing to help, please email me at email@example.com
Steve, I fully agree with your reply in the recent Dr. Fine/Robert Johnson discussion. I would like to point out that Robert Johnson is not posting out of interest in a discussion but specifically to increase the "web presence" of Dr. Fine. I don't know if he gets paid or not but the fact that he never makes a reply in these discussion threads and "favorites" each one indicates that he is just pumping up the listing of entries for anyone searching Dr. Fine on the Internet. Keith and I have discussed it and doing so isn't against the site rules and occasionally there is one or more members who do reply so Robert has not been banned from posting to GHS. I'm not a big fan of this kind of activity but it is common on the web.

Good hearing from you Steve. Hope things are well. I guess I look at this as lagniappe. If it comes, it comes. Just a little extra. But if it doesn't, I'm okay. What part of California. I spent my Navy time in San Diego.
Hello! I hope the site is a place for to learn, network and contribute. My name is Keith and I started the site in June of 2008 to open up lines of communication between landowners. We now have over 10,000 members.
As exciting as this is, we know that we have a responsibility to do this thing correctly. After all, we want the farm to remain a place where the family can gather for another 80 years and beyond. This site was born out of these desires. Before we started this site, googling "shale' brought up little information. Certainly nothing that was useful as we negotiated a lease. Read More
