There are those of us that have been leased for years. And have watched as wells in our units were drilled, and then maybe produced for a while and then the checks slowly stopped coming. Or maybe a well was a good one, and we found that the unit lines were changed, (without notice) and we were no longer part of that unit which had a good producing well.
