Proof of lot size for oil lease.

Got a call from my oil lease group people. They told me My title had cleared and that I needed to come sign a W-9. I ask how much property they showed I owned. It was for about HALF of what I have. Guess they went by my Deed. The Deed stated That I owned lot 18 and half of lot 19. It gave measurements of each side of lot 19 in feet and stated how many acres.. Nothing for lot 18. So now I have to prove to the oil company that I do own lot 18. I thought they checked everything out at the court house so the oil company would know just how much land you had. I do hope the court house hase the record of the correct property in the books. Any advice out there??

Even when you start to get it corrected, you may run into more of the same kind of thing over and over.
