Yes, I was with Callon for 30 years and now an independent doing leasing, title and brokering in Mississippi, Louisiana, Michigan and Virginia.
I keep up with Jim Bartell and Kerry Extine. Do you have any idea how George Head is doing ?? I would like to get a phone number for him so I can give him a call. Take care and good luck in the Haynesville :-))) Meade

Hi Cathy,

Haven't seen you on GHS in a while and just wanted to drop in and say hi.

I've, thought about you often. It's only been 29 years, but every time I work on a tract in Panola County that involves a Trexco Partnership, I think about all the crew we worked with at Transcontinental. I spoke with Fran Bailey about 15 years ago when she was with Sklar working for Gus Erickson. I sure would like to take you to lunch sometime. Great to hear from you. My cell # is 409-789-7921. Where is Ryan these days. Heard that Phil Isreal died several years ago.

Cathy,

On the 4th of July, the apparently healthy son of a friend of mine went to see his mother here in Shreveport. They were sitting on a sofa, visiting like we all do, when Richard grabbed his chest and collapsed - he died of a massive heart attack in his mother's arms. None of us have any idea how fragile life really is, do we?

I have one daughter who is also my best friend. I don't know that I could survive if something happened to her. Maybe I could, maybe I have more faith and courage than I'm aware of but I know my heart would be totally broken.

Grief is definitely the price we pay for love.

Please know that you're in my prayers.

I wanted to say how sorry I am to hear about your son. I used to know a very elderly lady in Ruston who once told me the hardest thing on earth is to outlive a child and I'm sure that's true.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

good morning CottonTop. The shop is Shreveport Trading Company Antiques. It is located at 205 E. King's Highway in Shreveport. It is housed in the building that once was Sooto Records Shop. It is not my shop but a very good friend of mine. There are 18 dealers in the store so you are sure to find something that you will like!

Hey Cottontop,

Glad you are alright from the accident. I've had a few of those that just made me thankful to be alive.
