Wanda. Encana bought out the lease and the Glenrose wells in your section from Sunland Production last year. Have you received royalty checks from Sunland in the past?
yes we did.nice ones.
Looks like Encana has completed a Haynesville well in your section. It is not yet flowing to sales according to Sonris, but when it does those royalty checks will make the Glenrose checks look puny. Good for you!
Hooraaaaay ! thanks for the info. How long do you think its gonna be before its up and running.
Follow this link and keep watch on it. Updates are sometimes slow in coming but they will come. Again, good luck.

Thanks Ronny you're the best.
Ronny,
Can you tell me anything about the well in Sec 19 t14 r14 in Kickapoo?
I suggest that you make another phone call and ask for an email address for the person or persons responsible for communications with royalty owners. Send a polite but straight forward email with the basic information concerning your royalty interest. I feel sure you will receive a response which answers your questions once you have found the right staffer to contact.
Thanks skip.
Did you say a $2.00 (two dollar) royalty check? . Maybe they sold the lease to another company. We had a lease with Long several years back and they sold to Winchester and we started receiving checks (some times really nice) checks from Winchester which I think is Exco.
You think maybe Encana sold it to someone? Because Sunland had it until a year ago and we were getting pretty decent royalty checks and when Encana got it they went down down all the way to two dollars.
Wanda,

Encana still owns the Glen Rose wells. There are 4 Glen Rose wells drilled in your section and the Glen Rose units are quarter sections (160 acres). All 4 wells used to produce well but now the production has dropped off in 3 of the 4 wells, the Pure Resources, the Russell and the Flanagan wells. The well that is still producing a lot is the Leftridge well.

A new well is being drilled in your section by Encana. It is the John Persley horizontal Haynesville and the spud date was 7-15-09.

You should follow the advice of the members here and keep up with the production of the wells for your units and obtain the correct name and contact information, not only for your current questions but for any future questions or issues you may have with royalty payments.

P. S. I live about two miles away and have always been a little jealous of those Glen Rose wells. LOL
