I did not make a clear statement. Sorry---I did find a P&A report with a date but have been told equipment was physically removed long before this date. Would there be a report filed anywhere as to when this work was actually done?
The only public info at OOC is going to be a P&A report, that will show when the well was finished.

There may be a work history report as well. this will be in the well file.
Thanks for the information. will look for this.
It may help if we knew why it was impoertant as to when the equipment was removed. Are you trying to find a date when prescription comences for example?
The importance does have to do with prescription . Neighbors remember well equipment being removed several years before P&A date. Very little production was shown during last few years before abandoned. Have not been able to get information from operator. Any way to go back several years and find who was checking well? Nothing shown regarding this in well file.

Thanks for your reply. Operator is not a person one could sweet talk so that is not an option. Sorry, I am not at liberty to provide serial number. Lots of other folks involved. Would you be able to mention other options that may help track equipment and at least point me in that direction ? Again--- Thank you . Any help would be appreciated.
Coffee, do you mean "production equipment" or "wellhead equipment"? These are two very different sets of equipment.

Not sure of equipment . Whatever would be visible at well site on old well. Total novice here. Thanks for any info.
Go from the date of the last production. Check well file for anything that has been done to the well after production ceased. If nothing has been done then count 10 years for precription. Also check for any other drilling activity on this property drilling a hole interupts precription.
