Can anyone tell me if any deep test wells have been drilled in Sabine Co or if there are any permits for any? I can't believe our sister county - Sabine Parish- has all the gas! Just because Toledo Bend divides us doesn't mean that gas isn't under this land also.

The stats on the well drilled between Pleasant Hill and Mitchell, the 25 permits applied for by Shell in the area and the amount of the signing bonuses paid have me convinced they know there is a lot of gas there.
Which well is that Sandstone? And where would I find data on that well, please?
The Murray. They plan to drill two more wells beside it on the same land. Also the Olympia in the Big Woods area has a 24 hr. guard. Postings on the Sabine Parish group have a lot of info about it. The Messenger well is in DeSota Parish near Ajax.
Sorry, the Messenger is in Natchitoches Parish.
I have acreage in sabine,murry started drilling on my land,but i havent heard anything else.the well is murry31#1-10n-r11w.if you know anything please post it about it.
