RBH,

Can you do a search to see if there have been any well reports published yet for these other Valance wells in Nagodoches CO:

1) Corgey #1R

All of these wells also had multiple target formations listed and were permitted to 15,000'.

Permits were from September - November '09, so perhaps some have already been completed and reported?

Thanks.

In East Texas the shale includes bossier and Haynesville shale. Division upper Bossier--middle bossier and bottom of the shale is the haynesville shale. some of the wells in the county line field by common resources are haynesville shales and the EOG wells gammage, hill, and pop-pop are bossier shales is my understanding. then below the shale is the cotton valley lime and the smackover aka haynesville lime.

Thanks for the stats RBH. What strikes me is the difference in the depths of the formations on wells that are very close to one another, assuming they are reporting accurate numbers. From East to West, you have the Gammage, Pop-Pop, Hassell, Hill and Ruth Stewart, which are all very close to one another. Look at the depths of the formations. For Example, the Haynesville is listed at 13270' (Gammage) and 12812' (Pop-Pop). That's a 450+ ft difference on wells that are apprx 1200' apart. Then the Hill at 12700', with the Hassell being between the two. Valence's Ruth Stewart is the next well west of the Hill. The other formations vary alot as well.
MIGHT NEED TO ADJUST TO SUBSEA; NOTE ON POP-POP-SAID TOP Haynesville 12812' BUT THEN SAID
top of pay 13293' WHICH IS CLOSE TO THE GAMAGE 13270'
Looking at the location plots of both the Gammage and Pop Pop it looks like there is only a 19' difference between the elevations of their respective pad locations. Gammage is listed as starting at 278' elevation and Pop Pop at 259' so adjusting to sea level would not account for that difference.
I think someone made a mistake--
POP-POP-SAID TOP Haynesville 12812' BUT THEN SAID top of pay =13293' -259=13034 subsea
GAMMAGE 13270'-278=12992' subsea
I'm not sure that it is actually a "mistake". I've been wrapping my head around the completion reports that you posted below for Pop Pop, Hassell, Hill and Gammage and there are a number of items that are not synching up.

I'm trying to absorb all of those report details right now and I'll post a bit further later tonight.
