Western limits of Haynesville and Bossier

I started a thread asking about any Chesapeake Bossier interest in east/northeast Nac. county.  No responses so far.  Maybe a better question would be to what extent there is any testing/pushing of the "core" limits on the western part of either of the Texas shales.

A number of the core maps do not show the Haynesville going as far west as the Bossier which is also interesting, given the Cabot vertical HS tests in the Trawick field that had decent vertical results (3 mmcf/d IP) but then were shutin.  Did anyone come across information about the shale quality of those wells?

What are the westernmost shale wells in Nacodoches county now?  Do I remember correctly that there is some shale activity in the Angelina Trend?

Yeah and gas prices are already dropping with the Nymex today--Not wellhead for March and April ~$4.90/MMBtu

Did you read all the FAQs to see what they updated lately? I noticed that they have now included Gregg County as a non-core county on the map (compare it to my avatar downloaded 6 mo. ago)

jffreel--EOG has a couple other vertical wells drilling where they amended the TD to 14,000'--Compton #1 and Erwin #1 think they will amend those to Horizontals?

I think it's always a possibility. I don't try to second guess what these companies might do, though. They could end up producing the Travis Peak with a vertical completion.

No doubt about it, although sometimes it also seems like they shrink some boundaries to poor mouth some areas they are actually interested in developing.

Have you seen any other graphics of recent vintage that showed the outer boundary that far west - including all of Angelina county plus a little farther SW?

I also find statements like "Multi-year track record of 100% drilling success rate" interesting. Does that mean no dry holes, or that all wells were profitable within the first year or all wells are estimated to be ultimately profitable or what?

I suppose the commentary that goes along with the presentation might elaborate on such talking points.
