That looks like a document number for a Shelby County record. If so, here is the website to look that number up http://cc.co.shelby.tx.us/
If you want to look up drilling permit information you´ll want to go to the Texas Railroad Commission´s site. http://www.rrc.state.tx.us/data/online/index.php The API number on that well is 419-31476. I´d give you a link closer to it, but the site seems to be down at the moment.

John Garner,
The operator changed on 3-16-10 from Burk Royalty to Unit Petroleum. The permit is for a vertical well to 15,000' in the Center (Haynesville) field.

It is fairly close to the Ches-Carzenava 1H (about a mile west) but it's a different unit so it shouldn't be mixed up in that Chesapeake mess (hopefully).

There is a document in the Shelby records that gives the agreement leases in the CHK , Burk deal. It shows all the leases and people. You will have to go to the site because it is 26 pages and cannot be downloaded. Someone posted a link and instructions, but I don't remember where.
The thread is titled
"Memorandum of Farmount Agreement". It shows how to find the document, further down in the thread. I believe it was Skip who posted the instructions.

Use the link above. Go to Real Estate Records. Search by instrument number - 2009008392. The conveyance document is a Memorandum meaning it does not contain all the details of the transaction only those required by law. It's 26 pages and does list the leases covered in the Farmout.

Thanks very much y'all! I'm not sure what the "farmout" to Chesapeake means to me and the other lessors. Anyone have a clue? J.R. Ewing what did you mean by your comment? It doesn't sound very positve, LOL.

Google "Shelby County Today", go to the site, click on "Public Records", accept their terms, then type in your doc. no. in the box or simply the name of the unit (hopefully it is filed). Sometimes you will get lucky and a plat will be attached to the declaration; if the declaration has been filed as yet.
If not, you can try the Texas Railroad Commission Site (at least 3 months behind) and hopefully find a plat attached to their filings. Go to that site then Maps, then GIS Map Viewer (2 screens), on the right, click on " Select Map Tools and select - Identify Wells" when the next screen comes up; simply select the county and type in the abstract no. and hit enter (less info is better with the RRC), then click "Map" you can click on the wells by process of elimination (too much info to put in a note to be specific). It then pulls up the well information. You will click on Operator/Wellbore PDQ. Then click on oil and gas imaged records and scroll through to see what's there. The P-12 tells you who is in the unit and how much acreage of your tract is within the unit. Hopefully they will have a plat attached as well. Maybe that helps!

I just recived a unit division order on the now completed McCants #1 well. I know I have seen what wells potentialed on other wells, is there somewhere I could get that information on this one? Just curious as to how this well should do.
