EnCana Tests 1st Haynesville Shale Well in Carroll Creek Field (6/4/10)

Preliminary flow test results were posted on Sonris for the Joanna Carson well in Section 4 of T12N-R9W near the Ashland Road. This is the first well flow results for the Carroll Creek Field and is positive news for this area of the Haynesville/Bossier Shale play.

EnCana, Joanna Carson 4 #H1 Well, Serial #240295, S4-T12N-R9W, Red River Parish, 15157 Mcfd, 21/64" Choke, 5729 psi Flowing Pressure

Is the Carroll Creek Field west of Red River?

Bonnie, the Carroll Creek Field is east of the Red River between Coushatta and Martin.

The Joanna Carson #4 well is on the Carroll Creek Road (on the right side if you come in from the Ashland Road). The Carroll Creek field extends as far west as Edgefield and as far south as the Hickory Grove Rd (Hwy 784) area.
