Not sure about section, but near by got $4,000/acre bonus & 25% royalty
Robert, thank you for your reply. Why do you think this bonus is so low when compared to the rest of Red River Parish ? Do you know what company was involved?
BTW our land in T14N R10W. Company involved was Pride Oil fronting for Encana. Been property owners Red River Parish for years & never offered any where close to this in past. Our adviser has been in the leasing business 30+ years and has never seen anything like this. We would have probably settled for much less without his help. All this went down in March/April.

Tuscaloosa Trend Sits On Top Of Poorest Neighbourhood For Decades - Yet No Royalties Ever Paid To The Community -- Why??

In researching the decades-old Tuscaloosa Trend and the immense wealth it has generated for many, I find it deeply troubling that this resource-rich formation runs directly beneath one of the poorest communities in North Baton Rouge—near Southern University, Louisiana—yet neither the university ( that I am aware of)  nor local residents appear to have received any compensation for the minerals extracted from their land.
