Does anyone know the general history of wells in the Haynesville Shale over the last couple of years? Average production decline after first 6 months? 1st year? 2nd Year?

Approximately 80% the first year.

Yes. Many companies have posted decline curves and they all show numbers like this.

However, some companies, led by Petrohawk, are now choking back their wells to reduce production in the first year. The thinking (and evidence) suggests that by choking the well back, the pressure will be maintained longer, and ultimately, the well will produce more total gas. Petrohawk's choked-back wells show fairly constant production for the first 6-8 months. There isn't a lot of data to show what happens at the 1-2 year mark yet.
