sec 7 T16N R13W

Good Morning,

 

I have a sort of stupid question, given how so many of you here are wonderful at sharing all the knowledge you have on the HS activity.  I leased to Petrohawk last year and I have learned alot from reading all the posts here.  I try SONRIS  but am never sure how to find wells- I have sort of  figured out from the directions here how to use SONRIS lite,I see well locations and numbers but am not sure what is really happening. I have even google earthed the lat and long to see where wells might be being put in but it shows images which are too old.

 

If someone has a moment to tell me what is up in my area, if anything? .

 

I had asked about a letter I received awhile ago about making a smaller unit-520 acres vs 640. I got good info from a GHS member. Never heard from the law firm if it was approved. Does anyone know?

 

Thank you so much for any info.  Gotta go start watering before it gets too hot for my used-to-be-a Yankee-from-Detroit-body!!

S7-T16N-R13W is in unit HA RA SUR, and appears to be a 640 acre unit, however it very well could be less because there are several irregular sections in that area. Well S/N 241555 laterals into section 7 from a surface location in section 18, and will drain gas from section 7. SONRIS shows that they have started completion on this well. It will most likely be 3 or 4 months before you hear anything from Petrohawk.

Thank you so much. I will now be able to track what is going on. I hear lots of noise, like giant fans and trucks from the south east from my house maybe that is what I am hearing. Of course in this heat while working outside i could just be hallucinating.

What you are hearing is probably the fracturing pumps and engines as they frac the well. Fracture stimulation usually takes about 8 to10 days, depending on the number of stages.

Thanks again! I also found the well on SONRIS and am translating all the verbage and terms on there.
