Seeking General Information on Pipeline Construction in the Haynesville Play Area

I do statistical analysis of steel pipe production and import data.  I’d like to learn more about the end-use of the products we cover.  In doing so I have contacted E&P’s and pipeline contractors in the Rockies and Marcellus areas.  Now, with a basic understanding of the installation process, I would like to see if there are significant differences in the methods used in the Haynesville area.  I am interested in learning about the general terrain, and trenching methods involved in installing a hypothetical 6 in. gathering or water injection line.

Any input and/or suggestions on who to contact would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Jim there are several companies that have constructed pipelines in the area including large intrastate and interstate lines. Companies like Energy Transfer constructing the Tiger Pipeline then all the way down to small gathering infield piepline that most oil & gas operator put in to transport gas from their well to a larger transmission line to market. Suggest you contact some one like Energy Transfer who put in the larger pipe up to 36" pipeline. If you want data about 6" pipelines any of the larger independent operator like EOG,HK.DVN,EXCO,CHK, and many more can answer your questions
