This one is part of Mason Creek Subdivision.  Can anyone tell me where this is and what it might be for based on its location.  See attached.

Well, great - the deed doesn't say what Survey the subdivision / lot is in, so most folks can't locate this or comment, either... not blaming the sellers.  The buyers/abstract/title company that prepared the description should have included the Survey name / Abstract #.  Any way that can be shared???  I predict that the land is meant for either a drillsite or compression station.  Where it lies (Survey name / Abstract #) would probably tell the tale.

GoRicky,  That is what I was hoping someone could tell us.  I am surprised how quiet it is.

I looked for Mason Creek and it may be an old town site that went under the lake but which may still have some lots on dry land.  The creek goes across Hwy. 87 south of Isla.  Find the creek and follow it to the lake.  You will find poplulated  areas on both sides of the creek where it meets the lake.

I will look at the plat book if I get time to go to Hemphill.

Here are some photos of the area referenced.  It is J. Mason, A-160.  My pipeline consultant says that it could have several purposes such as a compressor station, an amine plant or a junction point.  His words were, "you can put a lot of stuff on five acres".

Thanks Jffree1.

After looking at those pictures, I see that we own land it that area. How do we know what activity is happening there? We haven't been approached about leasing any of our land. How do you get information about all this?  Sorry to sound so ignorant, but I guess I really am.
