Does anyone know the status of the well pad on Pleasant Road in RInggold?  A sign on the site states it is Section 12. Shortly after it was completed, another pad was done across the road and a well is being drilled there now, which is section 13.

Farmer, the following is the information on the two wells.  The Brossette 12 Well has a surface location in Section 13 but the lateral is being drilled in Section 12.  The Cross Creek 13 Well is the opposite with a surface location in Section 12 but with a lateral drilled in Section 13.  I believe both wells are being drilled by the Patterson 203 Rig but there is conflicting information concerning which well was drilled first.  Is the rig currently on the east side or west side of Pleasant Road?

J-W Operating, Brossette 12 #1 Well, Serial #241380, S13(12)-T15N-R9W
J-W Operating, Cross Creek 13 #1 Well, Serial #241399, S12(13)-T15N-R9W

The west side. Sign at rig site reads section 13. I believe they are now fracing the well .

Farmer, that would mean the drilling rig is on the Brossette 12 Well.  It is doubtful this well is being frac'ed since the drilling rig is still on location.

As of last weekend, the rig was gone. If there is a rig there, it has been put back since Saturday.

Farmer, so when you posted a well is being drilled there now you meant some time in the past?

Sorry for the confusion. On the pad that is posted as Section 12, Cross Creek, there is nothing there. They seem to be using it as a storage site for equipment. On the pad that is posted as Section 13, Brossette, they have been drilling for some time now, I believe since the end of October.  The rig was removed 2 weekends ago and I believe this is the one that is being frac-ed now. These 2 sites are across the street from each other. The section 13 well site is on the corner of Pleasant Rd and Caesar Rd.

Could you possibly be refering to the well site that is also on Pleasant Rd behind the cemetary? The drilling there is still in progress in Section 6.

Farmer, sorry - I was just confused by the original post as I assumed a rig had drilled at one site (Section 12) and then was moved to another (Section 13).  I now realize only the Brossette 12 #1 Well has been drilled (spud date 10/18).  I can only assume that J-W will eventually drill the Cross Creek well on that site.

Sonris has the info backwards.  It says the Cross Creek location in 12 drilling into 13 is the one that has been drilled.  The Brossette location in 13 drilling into 12 is the one that has been drilled and I believe fracing is complete or at least very close to completion.  Any idea when J-W would bring rig to the Cross Creek location?
Thomas, thanks for clearing up the confusion caused by the Sonris infomation.  That is consistent with Farmer's description.  I am not sure when J-W plans to drill the Cross Creek well but maybe they are just waiting on the Brossette flow results.

I agree, Sonris is most confusing. That's one of the reasons I asked my original question.

And I think everyone is in agreement that they are happy the drilling has begun in the area. May it continue with great success.
